Aluminium Boom Box
The Aluminium Boom Box is an oil boom storage box and transport box built on a welded aluminium frame. Inside the box, the oil boom hangs on hangers and rails, kept off the ground, so it stays organised, clean and protected until it is needed. Forklift pockets and corner lifting eyes make the box easy to move on site.
What Is an Oil Boom Storage Box and How Does It Work?
The oil boom is clipped with carabiners to hangers running on rails inside the box and stored off the ground. The boom does not sit on the floor or get piled up, and it can be pulled straight out of the box and deployed when needed.
The base of the box is a rimmed drip tray: residue dripping from the boom after use stays inside the box instead of spreading onto the storage area or the ground. The top is closed with a PVC cover with snap/hook-and-loop fastening that protects the boom from sun, dust and rain.
