Sea Hunter: Trash boat – Sea Surface Cleaning Boat
Sea Hunter is a sea surface cleaning vessel designed and manufactured by EPS Marine. Built on an 8-meter GRP catamaran hull, it collects floating plastic waste, algae, plastic bottles and other solid marine litter using a hydraulic basket (skimmer) system at the bow. Sea Hunter is used in marinas, beaches, ports and municipal cleaning operations, is truck-transportable, and comes standard with an AISI 316 stainless steel basket and VHF radio. For oil spill response, it can be paired with EPS Marine’s Oil Skimmer and Boom products.
Sea Hunter’s strong composite structure and impact-resistant keel make it a long-lasting, professional trash boat — a lightweight, robust and economical sea cleaning vessel built from GRP (polyester) catamaran construction.
Depending on the market and the terminology used, Sea Hunter is also referred to as a trash boat, trash vessel, trash skimmer, sea cleaning vessel, sea clean-up vessel, sea cleaning boat, sea clean-up boat, sea cleaning machine, garbage collection boat, garbage collection vessel, ocean cleaning vessel, or ocean clean-up vessel.
Sea Hunter is an entry-level marine litter recovery boat manufactured by EPS Marine (Türkiye). It is an 8-meter GRP catamaran trash boat with a front-mounted hydraulic basket (skimmer) collection system, built for lightweight, truck-transportable, economical daily use. Unlike Sea Hunter Pro, which uses a full conveyor-belt system and enclosed cabin for intensive operations, Sea Hunter is designed for everyday marina, beach and coastal cleaning.
